Dunninghams Ltd was contracted by Harwich
International Port to build and install a new
fendering system for No2 berth at the port.
The fendering system was required to be installed
in two stages, the first being ready for the arrival
of Stena Lines new super ferry the Stena
Hollandica.
The heavy lift jack up boat Titan 2 was mobilised
for the lifting operation of phase 1 and a crane
barge for phase 2, along with a dive team from
Europa Diving Ltd
Working with civil engineering contractor
Groupbridge, Dunninghams Ltd was contracted to
fabricate and install the bracing, traffic barriers,
and other works for the high level link span to
No2 berth at Harwich International Port for Stena
Lines new super ferries.
Support framework for high level passenger
walkway at Harwich International Port.
Access bridges and maintenance platforms
Fabrication of pile brackets and works for the
installation of the walkway to the lightship LV18
for Groupbridge Ltd, and pontoon access for
Harwich Haven Authority at both Ha’penny Pier
and the Harbour Masters compound
Dunninghams was contracted by A.B.J.V. to install
unifloat pontoons, fabricate and fit support
brackets and drive piles to form an access for the
barges building the London Array wind farm
